England captain, Harry Kane predicts the Three Lions to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

England captain Harry Kane has predicted that the Three Lions will win the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

Kane believes the Three Lions can go one step further in Qatar and win their first major trophy since the 1966 World Cup.

England will play Iran, the United States, and Wales in World Cup Group B.

“We have to believe we can win [the World Cup in 2022],” Kane told Track News.

“When I look back ten, fifteen years, it was almost as if we were afraid to say we wanted to win it.” One of the big changes we’ve made over the last four or five years with Gareth [Southgate] is not being afraid to say that.

“Look, we’re going to this tournament with the intention of winning because we believe we can.” It would be incorrect to believe otherwise. What is the point of going to a World Cup if you don’t believe you can bring home the trophy?

“It will be difficult, and we will have to work extremely hard, have a little luck, and have a lot of things go our way to achieve that.”
