A certain Nigerian Twitter user @Khalod-oel has claimed that former president of America, Barack Obama has reacted to the death of 27-year-old Nigerian musician, Mohbad who died on the 12th of September.
His death has sparked speculation that his former record label boss, Naira Marley, an ex-convict in the United Kingdom, might be responsible for his death. Mohbad had left the Marlian Record label due to some unrecognizable issues which neither of the parties clearly revealed to the public.
Consequently, the deceased is said to have petitioned the Nigeria Police Force over constant threat to his life by some stakeholders of the Marlian Record after he parted way with them. Since the death of the Mohbad, there have been a social media call investigation of the singer’s death as well as call for justice, for these reportedly involved in his death to be arrested and prosecuted.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Khalid claimed that former president of America, Barack Obama has joined in calling for justice over Mohbad’s death.

However, upon trying to ascertain the veracity of the claim by Khalid on Twitter, the Reliant News could not see such a remark on the Twitter page of Barack Obama. Hence, Khalid claims about Barack Obama commenting on the death of Mohbad is not verifiable.
