On-air media personality, Omotayo, has made a shocking revelation about marriage. She stated that marriage is not for those who want to remain happy for the rest of their lives. She advised that such people should remain single.
The OAP in a series of tweet, stated that marriage is for those who are physically, mentally, financially and emotionally stable and are ready to share in each others joy, sorrow, excitement, pain, fulfilment, happiness and agony.
She added that people who wish to stay married must be prepared to make sacrifices for each other and be able to forgive as many times as possible.
In her words,
“Marriage is the coming together of two adults (man and a woman) who are physically, mentally, financially and emotionally ready to embark on a journey of joy, sorrow, excitement, pain, fulfilment, happiness and agony,
If what you want is to be happy all your life pls stay single if you want marriage then be ready to make sacrifice and also be mentally ready to forgive and let go as many time as possible, if you are not ready to compromise or even bend your rules and standard on several occasion to restore peace and sanity to your home, stay single please”.
