Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing former Chelsea defender, Marc Guehi for their manager Mikel Arteta ahead of the upcoming 2023-2024 season.

Guehi has established himself as a key starter at Crystal Palace since joining the Premier League club from Chelsea for £18m back in 2021.

The 22-year-old has scored five goals and provided one assist in 78 overall appearances for Palace.

However, according to The Sun, Arsenal have added Guehi to their summer transfer shortlist as they have prioritized two defensive signings at the end of the current campaign in order to bolster Arteta’s squad to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

The report added that Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Chelsea’s Mason Mount, Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans and Real Valladolid’sIvan Fresneda.

Guehi’s contract with Palace will expire in June 2026
