Ibekmi Oriamaja Reports

Dwight Yorke, a former Manchester United striker, has warned the club’s manager, Erik ten Hag, against using Marcus Rashford in the wings.

He believes the 24-year-old should only be used as a striker to help him gain confidence.

Rashford has scored three goals in eleven Premier League appearances this season for Erik ten Hag’s side.

Ten Hag has mostly used the England international as a striker, but he is also used as a left winger on occasion.

Rashford needs to play consistently as a striker, according to Yorke.

“The No.9 position is a specialized one.” I feel bad for Rashford because he’s had to play on the right, left, and through the middle.

“You don’t master a position unless you play it every week.” “Playing the role helps a striker develop his senses and movements,” he explained.
