Former Chelsea midfielder, Andy Townsend, wants the club’s manager Graham Potter to drop forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from his squad.
Townsend, who said this ahead of Chelsea’s away Premier League tie with Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, said he wants to see Aubameyang’s reaction.
Aubameyang joined Chelsea from Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
The Gabonese attacker has started in four of Potter’s five matches in charge of the west London club so far and found the back of the net in three of those games.
However, Townsend still believes Aubameyang is a great goalscorer
