Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said that Liverpool fans threw coins at him during their 1-0 Premier League defeat on Sunday.

Guardiola says the incident followed the disallowed Manchester City’s goal in Sunday’s defeat.

It was Manchester City’s first defeat of the season. Pep Guardiola’s side had dropped just one point against Aston Villa.

They are four points behind league leaders, Arsenal who recorded a hard fought victory over Leeds United on Sunday.

Phil Foden thought he had put City ahead after Reds goalkeeper, Allison Becker spilled the ball the box but the goal was disallowed after VAR review
