Pep Guardiola has shared his opinion on which team is presently the best in England.
According to the former Barcelona boss, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are the best team in the English Premier League.
The Spaniard said that his Manchester City side will have to be at their best to beat Arsenal in tonight’s FA Cup fourth round at the Etihad on Friday.
The former Bayern Munich boss insisted Arsenal’s status as Premier League pacesetters means they are now the best team in England.
Arteta feels City remain the team to beat but Guardiola believes it is his former City assistant who holds the upper hand.
“A team with 50 points in one leg (half of the season) is the best.
“We have to prove how far away or how close we are. The best way is to perform at our best level, otherwise it will be difficult,” Guardiola told the press on Thursday
