EPL: Real reason Mesut Ozil will not join Arsenal’s rivals

Mesut Ozil’s agent, Ergut Sogut, has insisted the midfielder will never join another English club.

The 34-year-old left Arsenal in January 2021 to sign for Fenerbahce after falling out with Mikel Arteta.

However, Sogut has insisted his exit wasn’t as acrimonious as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s.

According to him, that is why Aubameyang has returned to England to play for Arsenal’s London rivals, Chelsea.

Sogut has told Tribal Football: “He could never play for another English club, he’s not like Aubameyang.

“He loved his time at Arsenal and is still in contact with a lot of players, not least (Bukayo) Saka, they have a special relationship
