Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney has lavished praise on in-form forward, Marcus Rashford after his impressive performances for Erik ten Hag’s side this season.
Rooney described Rashford as a top player, adding that the England international is back at his best for Man United.
Rashford has been impressive for the Red Devils so far this season, scoring 14 goals in 24 Premier League matches for the club so far.
“He’s doing fantastic. He is a top player, and he’s shown that early in his career,” Rooney said (h/t ESPN).
“He had a bit of a dip over the last couple of seasons so it’s important to go back to doing — back to his strengths.
“Being direct, being aggressive, being confident in front of goal, and I felt he was not confident for a while actually, but this season he is back to his best.”
