EPL: Why Arsenal signed Jakub Kiwior – Arteta

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has given reasons why the club have signed Jakub Kiwior.

Kiwior has joined the Premier League leaders from Spezia.

The Poland defender cost the Gunners €25million and has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

He will provide defensive backup from Arteta, whose team have the second best defence this campaign.

“It’s great that Kiwior is joining us. He’s young versatile defender who has shown huge potential and qualities, he will give us strength and quality to our defensive unit.

“We welcome Jakub and his family to Arsenal and look forward to working with him,” Arteta told the club’s official website
