Former England star, Gary Lineker has hailed Chelsea star Wesley Fofana, describing him as a ‘very special’ player.
According to Lineker, Chelsea fans ‘do not know how good he is’.
Fofana scored the only goal as Chelsea beat Leeds United 1-0 on Saturday.
Fofana completed a £70m move from Leicester City last summer but injuries have kept the 21-year-old on the sidelines.
Lineker believes Chelsea signed a ‘very special’ player last summer and says the club’s fans are yet to see his full potential.
“I said to some friends of mine who support Chelsea, ‘you don’t know how good this kid is yet,” Lineker said on BBC’s Match of the Day.
“But he’s very special.”
