Euro RoundUp: Ezekiel, Azubuike On Target; Eleke Sees Red In Switzerland

TRACKING>>Imoh Ezekiel scored his first league goal of the season for Kortrijk who were beaten 2-1 at home by Sporting Charleroi who featured Victor Osimhen for the entire duration of the encounter on Saturday reports Completesports.com.
The goal ended Ezekiel’s 17 game goal drought for Kortrijk this season.

Ezekiel scored three minutes after the restart to hand his side the lead but goals Ryota Morioka in the 66th minute and another in the 90th minute from Jeremy Perbet secured an away win for Sporting Charleroi.

The 25 year old Ezekiel was replaced in the 73rd minute by Teddy Chevalier.

His compatriot, Osimhen who is on a three game goal drought has scored nine league goals and two in 20 appearances.

In Turkey,Victor Moses made his first Turkish Super Lig start for Fenerbahce in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Konyaspor.

The Nigerian who was making his fifth appearance since arriving at the club, was replaced in the 82nd minute for Alper Potuk.

At the Timsah Arena, Okechukwu Azubuike was on target for Rizespor who spanked Abdulahi Shehu’s Bursaspor 2-0.

Azubuike sealed his side’s win in the 78th minute after Aatif Chahechouhe had shot Rizespor ahead after 12 minutes.

His compatriots, Chidozie Awaziem and Aminu Umar both featured from start.

While Awaziem played all 90 minutes the entire duration, Umar was replaced in the 76th minute for Braian Samudio.

The win moves Rizespor out of the relegation zone after staying unbeaten in their last five league games with four wins and a draw.

Shehu on his path came on for Ramazan Keskin in the 30th minute for his fourth substitute appearance.

In Switzerland, Blessing Eleke was sent off in the 65th minute as his side, FC Luzern lost 3-0 at home to Lugano who were without the Nigerian left back, Stanley Amuzie.

Eleke has scored seven league goals and three assists in 19 games for FC Luzern.
