Everton winger, Anthony Gordon has urged manager, Frank Lampard to allow him to join Chelsea this summer, TrackNews reports
Gordon has personally spoken to Lampard, as well as Everton’s hierarchy, and told them he wants to join Chelsea and they are respectful of his wishes.
The England youngster has underlined his desire to play in the Champions League and also feels playing for such a big club that competes for multiple honours will boost his chances of earning a surprise call-up to Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.
Chelsea has already had offers worth £40 million and £45 million rejected by Everton in recent weeks, who are adamant Gordon is not for sale – particularly given that they have already sold Richarlison to Tottenham Hotspur
