Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has reversed his consistent attacks on Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.
According to Naija News, Reno frequently criticizes the former Anambra State Governor and faults every statement he makes, earning him criticism from the ‘Obidients.’

On Monday, August 1st, 2022, the political activist stated on his Instagram page that a mutual friend of his and Peter Obi had intervened between them.

Reno claims he has agreed to remain neutral on LP flagbearer issues and will keep his word.

“A mutual friend of Peter Obi and mine intervened,” he wrote. I respect him a great deal and agreed to his request to remain neutral on Peter. I’m sticking to my guns. But if any of my subjects threaten or attack my one-year-old daughter, Israel, I will send them to your tents.”

Nigerians React
While some social media users praised him for his decision, others predicted that he would soon revert to his old ways of attacking Peter Obi.

“We the OBIdients say thank you for listening to that friend Peter Obi is a good man deserve a chance to be our President,” sunflexsunnex wrote.

“You will resume in one hour,” wrote odigwenkiru.

“I guess no one intervened,” shanederick501 wrote. “Peter doesn’t have any issues with you to begin with, he never responds to you at all, you just noticed what you are doing will not change anything, so you can continue sir.”

“Oga Reno, you have always been on the side of the people, the Obidient movement is a continuation of the EndSars protest, we all know the role you played during the EndSars protest, spending your money to ensure those arrested were released,” pterasss wrote. “Change cannot be avoided.”

“Why would you attack Peter Obi because someone you don’t even know attacked you?” contagiousadaora penned “Amusing and petty.”

“Hahaha, Mr. Omokri, you are hilarious,” yvinskyoraque2 commented. Is that your child? Are you certain? In any case, we know you’re respectful. We are only compelled to improve your social media handles because of you. Just be Usufle to Nigeria.”
