Ex-Super Eagles forward, Akpala gets coaching job in Belgium

Former Super Eagles striker, Joseph Akpala, has been appointed assistant coach of Belgian Pro League club, KV Korjrik.

KV Korjrik announced the appointment on their official website on Friday.

“KV Korjrik expands the technical staff with Jimmy Hempte and Joseph Akpala. They join Adnan Custovic’s staff and start working as assistant coaches,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.

Akpala is returning to familiar territory having started his professional career in Belgium with Sporting Charleroi in 2008
