Leah Monroe, a girlfriend to Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham, has slammed Thomas Tuchel after the manager left out her partner from the FA Cup final squad.
Abraham helped the squad reach the final of the competition, having played an integral part under Frank Lampard.
However, the Nigerian-born England international has fallen down the pecking order since Tuchel’s took over at Stamford Bridge.
Abraham is Chelsea’s top goalscorer this season with 12 goals in 34 appearances despite a lack of first-team opportunities
He scored his first senior hat-trick in the fourth round win over Luton and also scored the decisive goal in the fifth round win at Championship play-off contenders Barnsley.
Tuchel, however, has preferred his countryman, Timo Werner, upfront and Olivier Giroud starting on the substitutes’ bench, much to the disgust of Abraham’s girlfriend.
“How on earth do you make the decision to leave your top goalscorer out of the squad for a final?’ Monroe posted on her Instagram stories.
“The same person who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition?”
