The syndicate behind suspected dubious company, Qnet, holding hundreds of innocent Nigerian in captivity in Ejigbo houses in Lagos State after obtaining millions of Naira to secure foreign Dollars paying jobs abroad has been revealed.

TrackNews reports that the leader of the syndicate has been identified as Innocent Michael alongside three others, Isaac Ogbanje, Okpe Boniface and Abraham Olamide, who is already in custody at Kirikiri town, Lagos.

The security agencies were said to be on the trail of the suspects who have gone underground and went into hiding after the victims revealed their identities to the Police.

The houses in question are located at 38 Adewale Adenuga Street and 12 Aya-oye Street, Ejigbo area of Lagos.

The company, Qnet, was said to have dumped the victims after they had sold their properties and gave the money to the syndicate while waiting endlessly for the foreign jobs.

Some of the victims have been secretly relocated to another lounge in Ejigbo apart from the two aforementioned houses as the LCDA and landlords have reported to the Police that they no longer wanted them in their houses and streets.

The victims, who came all the way from Benue, Kogi, Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ekiti and Osun States are now stranded as none of them have been given any job or paid any money as the members of the syndicate had promised for several months and cannot go back to their families due to the money they had borrowed from them.

The company was said to have obtained from the victims huge sums of money ranging from N1.8m, N600,000, N400,000 and were promised that when they secure the job, they will be paid between $1000 dollars monthly and at the same time given accommodation, free visas and resident permits among others.

Trouble was said to have started after some of the victims, who had stayed in the lounges for several months, revolted and contacted the Police at Ejigbo Division. The Police moved into action and arrested one of the leaders of the syndicate, Abraham Olamide.
Olamide was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court for conspiracy and obtaining under false pretence.

Since their activities were exposed by PM EXPRESS the Police were said to have started manhunt for the leaders now at large, who reportedly registered the company with the CAC in Abuja.

Our correspondent gathered that many victims were still trapped in various locations in Ejigbo, where members of the syndicate had lodged them while extorting money from them and their relations.
