91-Year old woman move to her new house as law maker fulfil promise. (See photos)
TRACKING_____The Member Representing Yenagoa Constituency 1 in Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Oforji Oboku, has done the imaginable as he built a new house for an old woman in the state.
TrackNews learnt that Hon. Oboku promised the 91-year-old, mama Lovina Ogbogidi, from Famgbe Community, who lost her mud house to the rains, a new house in April.
According to an eyewitness Mr. Ebitimi who is also the neighbour of Mama Lovina, it took less than 3 weeks for the apartment to be completed.
“Few weeks ago (2nd day of April 2020), Hon Oforji Oboku, paid a visit to Mama Lovina Ogbogidi at Famgbe Community and made a promise to build a new house for her in 3 weeks time.
“He has finally fulfilled his promised, he did it in less than the 3 weeks as he promised by building a wonderful block house, well furnished for Mama.

“This woman has been living in a mud house that looks as if termites are holding hands. Last month, her house was washed off after a heavy rainfall. We were all praying for her and now God has answered her prayers.
“This is an example of good representative, not the ones who would only donate a carton of noodles, student bed, a bag of cement and a bundle of roofing sheets”, Ebitimi said.
