The former Anambra governor is widely speculated as the running mate to Atiku for the 2019 general elections.
Several options have been suggested in the public domain, with the candidate being widely expected to choose from either the southeast or southwest.
Silverbird Television owned by PDP senator, Ben Murray-Bruce is reports that Atiku has settled for Obi.
Nigeria’s number one business newspaper is also reporting same.
Obi, 57, is known for operating a very meticulous financial regime in Anambra state when he served as governor.
