Breaking: Kano State Government sacks all permanent secretaries

TRACKING>>Kano Government has sacked all Permanent Secretaries in the state, in line with the present government’s reformation resolve.

This is according to a statement from the Head of Civil Service on Thursday. According to the statement, the decision is in line with the Kano Government’s decision to “Vigorously pursue/implement the reform initiative embarked upon since its inception”.

Meanwhile, these are the eight new Permanent Secretaries recently sworn in by President Buhari in Abuja.

The short ceremony reportedly took place at the Council Chamber before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The new permanent secretaries are, Oluwuyiwa Enitan (Osun), Mohammed Dikwa (Borno), Ajani Madaline (Delta), and Festus Yesufu Dawodu (Nasarawa).

Others are Nnamdi Maurice (Imo), Bakare Wadinga (Adamawa), Babatunde Lawal (Lagos) and Ernest Afolabi Umahi (Edo).

According to Vanguardngr, while congratulating the new permanent secretaries, President Buhari who reminded them that new oath taken comes with a lot of responsibility, charged them to help the government overcome its problems through the implementation of its policies.

President Buhari charged the new Permanent Secretaries to be above board in their functions and expressed his commitment to the welfare of the civil service.
