Club owner Shina Peller shows staunch support for Muhammadu Buhari, says he is incorruptible
Popular club owner and politician Shina Peller has weighed in on who his favourite candidate for the upcoming 2019 election is. According to him, Muhammadu Buhari is his choicest presidential prospect for the coming voting exercise.
But even more than this, he made a strong assertion about the two most controversial candidates that were contesting for the presidential seat in 2019 – Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar who was recently chosen during the National convention held in Port Harcourt to represent the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
For Shina Peller, Buhari was his most preferred candidate because he was totally ‘incorruptible’ while Atiku was very corrupt, and thus, a big part of the problems Nigeria is currently facing.
The business magnate, who recently won an APC ticket for a House of Representative seat, made this claim about Buhari being incorruptible on his Twitter page. He even went on to add that, for him, Muhammadu Buhari, the incumbent president of the country, was 100% better than PDP’s Atiku Abubakar.
Many Nigerians, upon seeing this singular post, did not waste time in blasting the entrepreneur for his unreserved support of Buhari. Here are a few of the reactions to his post:
Shina Peller who seemed to have been taking note of all these comments later wrote another tweet on his page. This time, he made sure to point out that his unabashed loyalty to APC’s Buhari stemmed from his own opinion and so no one should come for him in this regards.
More so, the wealthy investor turned on those who were dragging him out. He said they only had a say in the thread he had started if they had registered for their permanent voter’s card.
This time, Nigerians replied to Shina on a more personal level. Most of them warned him to just as well mind his opinion because he is a public figure whose very thoughts influence a whole lot of people.
