Libya condemns assassination attempt on Sudan’s PM
TRACKING____The UN-backed government in Libya on Tuesday condemned the assassination attempt on the convoy of Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok in Sudan’s capital Khartoum.
The government, through its foreign ministry said in a statement that it considered it a terrorist act aimed at “destabilizing the security and stability of the brotherly Sudan.”
PM Hamdok on Monday survived an assassination attempt when his motorcade came under a car bomb attack at the entrance of the Sudanese army bridge in Khartoum.
The attack injured a traffic policeman who was on his motorcycle at the front of the motorcade.
