Lionheart: I want to explore and express my creativity with new movie – Genevieve Nnaji

Genevieve Nnaji has expressed that she wants to explore her creativity with her new movie, Lionsheart.
The star actress made this known in a recent statement saying “Lionheart’ is the beginning of a journey to explore and express my creative interpretation of story-telling, particularly African stories.”
Continuing, she said, “Africa is a possessor of the most compelling stories as yet untold, and we are determined to tell our stories, our way, through our voices, to the world.”
Genevieve will be starring in two movies at the Toronto International Film Festival scheduled to kick off in September 2018.
Aside from her appearance in ‘Lionheart,’ Genevieve will also be seen in Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje‘s directed movie,“Farming”, acting alongside Kate Beckinsale.

“Lionheart,” Genevieve Nnaji’s directorial debut, will have its world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
The film, which aside from being her directorial debut, stars an array of acting award winners and pop culture icons, will screen for the first time at the festival on Friday, September 7, 2018.
“Lionheart” stars Genevieve Nnaji, Chika Okpala, Steve Eboh, Pete Edochie, Kanayo O Kanayo, Onyeka Onwenu, Nkem Owoh, Kalu Ikeagwu, Jemima Osunde, Yakubu Mohammed and Sani Muazu.
The movie also stars Nigerian rapper and singer, Phyno and Peter Okoye.
