MOSIEND ISSUED 48HOURS ULTIMATUM TO CONTRACTORS TO START ABANDONED PROJECTS.
The Leadership of the Movement for the Survival of Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in Niger Delta MOSIEND Olodiama Clan led by Comrade Mathew Perekebunna storms the creeks of Olodiama Clan in a bit to formally announce the rejuvenation of Great Mosiend, a formidable group in the Niger Delta, also Inaugurate the Unit executive bodies in all the Olodiama communities making up the clan.
The movement lasted two days as the Clan leadership visits all the various Communities in registering the groups presence and also meets with security operatives, chiefs, elders, youth bodies and CDC’s around the clan noting that Mosiend as a group has come to stay in fruition and development of Ijaws Nation.
Mr Perekebunna who led his team in the front expressed pleasure with the heavy downpour (rain) as a symbol of acceptance by the land and ancestors and was warmly received by chiefs, elders and other stake holders/ community leaders around the clan, as they heartily pledges their support in all the Communities and promise to strengthen the existed relationship among members of the group and the community, charging the group to be the mouthpiece of Ijaw Nation as they instilled undiluted wealth of advices profitable to the group, Olodiama clan and Ijaw Nation in general.
In addressing the Press Mr Perekebunna, the clan Chairman of the group expressed immense gratitude to the chiefs, elders, youth leaders and CDC chairmen for receiving his team starting from High Chief Azeke of Olugboboro and other well meaning elders around the Clan, that their show of acceptance is a moral booster to the struggle. He also encouraged and charged all the newly Inaugurated Units leaders to be focused and abstain from any form of social vice as representatives of Mosiend as a law abiding and armless group, not to drag the groups reputation to the mud.
In a statement signed by the Clan Chairman, Mr Mathew Perekebunna who assured the Olodiama People that Mosiend will not fail them and must by all available ethics of the group ensure that what belongs to the people of Olodiama in their lands as their heritage and pride be rightly given to them as oil producing People. That we as Mosiend must not compromise our stand with anyone he said.
Speaking further he adds that the group would no longer tolerate any misconduct in the area and loudly called on the IOC’s, contractors both indegneous to sit-up, mobilised to site in 48 hours to ensure all abandoned projects are completed in Olodiama Clan or be ready to face Mosiend by all means lawful and necessary that Mosiend all over Ijaw Nation will not fold hands to watch anyone maltreat the wellness of the people.
