TRACKING_____The Ijaw Youths Must Move Forward IYMMF wish to commend the position of the Ijaw Stakeholders for Good Governance ISGG under the leadership of Ebiye Coleman President and Mr. Lazarus Anthony Spokesman for urging the Federal Government to disregard sponsored media reports aimed at destroying the commission to deliver on her mandate and that “some Niger Delta leaders sponsoring falsehood and malicious publications against the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio where after the resources and dubious contracts in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)”

In a statement made available to TrackNews by the president Comrade Navy T. Stephen and the publicity Secretary Comrade John Ebikeme said, No doubt the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is an interventionist Agency but it should interest those so called Niger Delta leaders to know that the NDDC funds are not for charity as they expected. The days of Father Christmas with NDDC funds and awarding frivolous contracts without execution are over.We want to call on the people of Niger Delta to shun the attitude of pull him down syndrome and give the honourable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, His Excellency Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio and the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) the necessary support needed to transforming the Region.

We should be patriotic as the present administration is determined to repositioning the Niger Delta region, the Commission has being in existence for over a decade yet leaders who were previously saddled with the responsibilities of piloting the Affairs of the Commission never thought it wise to build the Headquarters simply because they were corrupt and were only interested in milking the resources of the Commission at the detriment of the region and God has exposed them all and they are now fighting to remove the God sent.

The intervention by the Commission on Palliative for the 9 states of the Niger Delta in the fight against the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic was indeed commendable and it was timely, as I always say, it’s good to occupy offices with peoples that put citizens first before personal interest.We are very convince that His Excellency Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio and the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the NDDC will not be distracted with fruitless efforts of this selfish self-aggrandizing leaders of Niger Delta but we are happy to state here that they have failed with all their antics this time and they shall surely pay for all the evils they have done to the Niger Delta Region and her people.
