Ned Nwoko Speaks of Drastic Plans to Rid Nigeria of Malaria.
TRACKING____Former member of the House of Representatives, Prince Ned Nwoko says Nigeria needs to begin advanced research on ways of tackling malaria in the country.
Mr. Nwoko made this known in his country home
Mount Ned Tourist Haven, Idumuje Ugboko, Aniocha North, Delta State in a media chat with TrackNews and volunteers from Bayelsa state.
He said he is finalizing plans, in collaboration with foreign scientists to carry out aerial fumigation in the country to get rid of mosquitoes, which are the primary causes of malaria and millions of deaths throughout Nigeria.
The “Malaria Eradication In Africa Project” was launched on 18th December 2019 in Abuja with the aim of ridding Africa of the deadly disease caused by the malaria parasite.
He further stated that, his Foundation ( Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation also plans to fund research for malaria vaccine to the tune of $750,000 to be accessed by five universities across Africa and encouraged African Heads of State to fumigate their environment simultaneously.
It was gathered that his trip to Antartica is to help him to interact with leading researchers working on more efficacy drugs for the control of the deadly disease.
