PDP Members On The Run In Nembe

TRACKING____After the news filtered in that the Supreme Court had nullified the election victory of Chief David Lyon over certificate forgery by his running mate,

Senator Degi Eremienyo Biobarakuma on the 13th of February 2020, the streets of the state capital Yenagoa, was in an instant uproar, as APC youths took to the streets to express their grievance on some properties believed to be owned by some bigwigs in the PDP.

While the fire was kindled from the state capital of Yenagoa, it exploded vehemently in Nembe, the hometown of Chief Timipre Sylva, the Hon. Minister of Petroleum for state and Senator Degi Biobarakuma, the Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, who is also the running mate to Chief David Lyon, the angry mob in Nembe had leniently told all PDP supporters in the town, to evacuate the town before nightfall to avoid been lynched.
As at filing this report, many PDP supporters had fled the town to avoid been a victim. The die is cast, as everyone in Bayelsa State knew how terrible and horrible Nembe politics can be most times. Nothing of great importance is ever settled in Nembe amicably without blood letting
