Politician Attacked By Thugs, Left With Broken Head (Photos)

The former Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom (Benue State) and ex-State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga has been left with a broken head after he was attacked on Saturday night in North Bank, Makurdi, by some political thugs.

Hon. Alfred Emberga Berger was manhandled while on peaceful consultation for his election by thugs. He was also stripped of all his phones and personal effects. They also damaged his car. See more photos…

Narrating the unfortunate incident, he said he was at Yagba with some party officials when the gun men numbering over Ten attacked and damaged his car, leaving him with deep wounds on his head. The house of Assembly hopeful called on politicians to caution their supporters to desist from such overzealousness.
