SA POLITICAL RECEIVES KINSMEN AS FIRST VISITORS

***PROMISE APPOINTMENT TO EACH COMMUNITY

TRACKING____The Special Adviser to Governor Douye Diri on Political Matters, Chief Hon. Collins Cocodia, hosted his first visitors today since his appointment to the revered office, as elders and leaders of Kabowei Clan, paid him a courtesy call, in his office in Yenagoa.

Spokesman of the people of Kabowei Clan, Chief Amafini Zipador, said the essence of their visit was to felicitate with him on his appointment, as he has made history as the first son of the clan to occupy a very sensitive position, the office of the Special Adviser on Political Matters.

Chief Zidapor said the clan are proud of him and all his achievements, urging him to use his wealth of experience in stabistabilizing the political space of the state, and for the betterment of Kabowei clan in particular.

Leader of the delegation, Chief Patrick Ogun, described him as a gift from God, adding that his appointment did not come as a surprise, as Chief Cocodia’s doggedness, hard work, and humility, has brought him thus far, and continue to elevate him, even in the future.

State Woman leader of the Peoples Democratic People in Bayelsa, Chief Christy Ebeli, on her part, thanked the prosperity government led by Governor Douye Diri, finding their son worthy of the appointment, and also expressed their gratitude to the immediate past Governor, Seriake Dickson, for the series of appointment given to him, and assured that Kabowei clan will stand by the PDP during the Senatorial bye election and equally use the medium to present a roll up stand to him.

Chief Collins Cocodia, while receiving his guests, said his value for his people informed as decision to host them as his first visitors, and called for unity amongst the entire Kabowei clan, as it was the quickest way for development to thrive in the clan.

The Special Adviser on Political Matters who stressed the Peoples Democratic Party has been a blessing to the area, following the number of leaders that came from Kabowei over the years, said he will not play politics with anything concerning Kabowei clan, as everything needed to be done, will be executed across the area, under his watch.

Chief Cocodia also called for one person from each of the community under Kabowei clan, that will work with him in his office.

Highpoint of the event was the offering of prayers to the SA on Political Matters, to succeed in his new appointment.
