Timi Frank calls on Nigerians to learn from Mali crisis
TRACKING____A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, has called on Nigeria to borrow a page from the ongoing script of Mali’s internal crisis.
TrackNews Online had reported that Mali President, Ibrahim Keita, and his parliament resigned following a military coup by mutinying soldiers.
The mutinying soldiers announced today, August 19, that it would take transitional power until a new government is elected.
Reacting via his official Twitter handle, Frank lauded the Malian Military and the people of Mali for their determination to stand up to bad governance.
He said that democracy and power belong to the people.
“I commend the Malians for their courageous drive to push away a Dictator out of power.
“I also commend the Malian Military, they’ve proven to be with the people.
“Nigeria and other African countries should learn from the Malians style, Democracy and Power belong to the people.” he Twitted
