TSUNAMI HITS APC CAMP IN AGBURA TOWN

•••••Says, APC has nothing to offer as decampees set ablaze their broom

TRACKING____Agbura Town in Yenagoa Council Area was totally agog at the weekend following a large number of members of the opposition party in the state, the All Progressive Congress, APC, decamping to the ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The defection which was described a as a Tsunami in the camp of the APC, is coming few weeks to the Senatorial bye elections, leaving the number of APC supporters in Agbura town, infinitesimal.

Commissioner for Health, Dr Pabara Newton Igwele amongst party leaders of Ward 3 and beyond, happily received the crowd of decampees (men, women and youths) from APC to PDP in the community.

The leader of the decampees Hon. Jerry Egba who spoke unbehalf of their lost but found brothers regrettably stated that they were in perpetual darkness, but thank God they have seen the light and has entered Canaan land and says bye bye to Pharoah.

Dr. Igwele who thanked the decampees for taken the bold step at this very timely period, and assured them of been carried along in all party activities.

He further charged them to be steadfast and work with the party in the forthcoming Central Senatorial District Bye-election on 31st Oct.

The Yelga PDP Chairman Hon. Prince Otes while speaking equally encourage every other individuals that are still in the dark not to hesitate in taking the bold steps identifying with leading party, PDP and further emphasized on the party willingness of carrying every one along.

Special guest of honor that witnessed the event included, Hon. Timothy Diekivie Itiedu, Hon. Wisdom Kieribo, Chief Commander Ogbeintari O. Ogbeintari, Chief Willy, Engr. Givson Kenigbolo, Hon. Olomu Noris, Engr Kikile Samuel, Hon. Nnamdi Egbo, and the PDP Chairman Yelga Ward 3, Hon. Prince Alex Alfred, among other notable dignitaries.
