TRACKING >Uche Odoputa, who is a veteran Bollywood actor and movie producer, has spoken on the challenges of a celebrity and how fame has deprived him of being his real self, especially walking around on bare foot and eating in local Bukkas.

According to what he told Pearls News, being famous has deprived him of many things.

“I can’t walk the way I want to walk anymore. I would want to walk on the street barefooted , sometimes go out with just Singlet. Most times eat what I want to eat, like nibble on snacks on my steering or to the local Bukkas. I can’t live my personal life anymore. I have to live the life the audience wants of me but in all, I try to live within my means.
Recently, I had an embarrassing moment with fan. She had rushed to me and at the point of wanting to take pictures, she almost kissed me. But you have to forgive it. Because any word or action taken at the point on time will me misinterpreted. So, all you need to do is use a diplomacy and save yourself out of that situation,” he noted.

“Dry leaves was inspired by things that I have seen around me. Experiences that I have heard from people. Bits and pieces of things I have passed through and seen people gone through.
Also, I decided to premiere abroad first because right now it’s on DSTV and Nigerians are seeing it. I premiered it abroad because I shot part of it here in the UK. So, I needed to fill in the gaps my UK based fans.”

On coping with marriage in regards to celebrities marriage crashing daily, the veteran actor noted that it’s not just celebrities that their marriage crashes however, ”the most important thing in life is to have the understanding that marriage is two for kinds of people that come together to build a family. We are all wired differently, our thoughts are quite different. You have to have the ability to tolerate and open up to be tolerated. Because if you don’t open yourself, you won’t be understood.
If you’re brought up in a home you would know how to deal things than those brought up in a house. That gives you the fabric to understand marriage. There’s no formula. A lot of us do not get back to the reality we keep living in the fantasy world.”
