FEC observes minute silence for victims

TRACKING____THE Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, observed a minute silence to honour victims of Sunday’s Abule-Ado explosions.

The meeting, which was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, also observed a minute silence for the memory of former Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Emmanuel Emovon.

Prof. Emovon, who died on February 20, at the age of 90 years, was Minister of Science and Technology under Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida.

He was also Vice Chancellor at the University of Jos, Plateau State. He would have clocked 91 years on February 24.
