Federal University Birnin Kebbi, resumes academic activities Monday ‘

The Federal University Birnin Kebbi, on Sunday, said its resuming academic activities on Monday, October 31, 2022.

Track News recalls that the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), had a few weeks ago called off its eight months strike.

Following this, the Senate of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi, (FUBK) at its meeting, has approved Monday 31st October, 2022 for the resumption of academic activities in the Institution.

In a statement Signed by Jamilu Magaji, the Public Relations Officer of the University, said the resumption date was taken at the Senate meeting held on Friday.

According to the statement, the Approved adjusted 2020/2021 academic Calendar, Second Semester lectures will take place in eight weeks from Monday, October, 31 to Thursday December, 22.

“Mid-Semester break Follows, holding from Friday December 22 to Monday, 2nd January 2023.” He said

He said Second Semester lectures will Continue for four weeks from Tuesday, January 3 to Saturday, January, 28, 2023.

“The second examination for the 2020/2021 Session begins from Monday, January 30 to Saturday, February, 18, 2023,” it said
