The Ogun State House of Assembly said it has noticed some financial infractions in the records of the State Health Insurance Agency.
This was made known by the Assembly’s Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption Committee chaired by Hon.Musefiu Lamidi.
The committee said it had examined the financial records of the agency as presented by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Afolabi Dosumu, charging its management to ensure compliance with financial regulations in all it does.
Lamidi, while saying there are various infractions discovered in the audit report of the Agency, requested for “the submission of the cash inflows of the Agency from January 1st, 2020 to December 31st, 2021.”
The committee also requested the Health Insurance Agency to provide supporting documents relating to other expenses, fixed assets register, policy documents on basic health insurance provision accounts and process for the engagement of third party administration.
The agency is also to produce the comprehensive list of third party administration as well as all amounts disbursed so far
