On Wednesday, the Senate will conduct screening sessions for the remaining five out of the 28-man ministerial list submitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Earlier, fifteen nominees underwent screening on Monday and Tuesday, where some were smoothly confirmed in line with legislative procedures, while others faced rigorous questioning concerning their strategies to tackle pressing challenges such as the economic downturn and the power crisis in the nation.

The scheduled nominees for Wednesday’s screening are as follows:

1. Dele Alake (Ekiti)
2. Mr. Muhammad Idris (Niger)
3. Prof. Ali Pate (Bauchi)
4. Dr. Doris Anite Uzoka (Imo)
5. Mr. Lateef Fagbemi SAN (Kwara)
