The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, DIGC, Dr Paul Enenche, has commiserated with the people of Bayelsa State over the flooding incident that recently displaced many residents of the oil-rich state.

The fiery preacher, who was in the state on Wednesday for the 2023 Bayelsa Annual Thanksgiving titled “The Grace And Mercy Of God”, described the plight of the citizens as unbelievable.

He said, “We want to join everyone who spoke today to commiserate with Bayelsa State for the terrible, devastating flood situation we saw. We heard of it, we read about it but it was nothing compared to what we saw as we were landing from the air.

“It was absolutely unbelievable. I had to ask my wife, I said, “look around”, and we began to look at houses submerged in water. It was unbelievable.

“I didn’t know what to do, whether to cry, I didn’t know what to do, but we want you to know that in the midst of trouble, in the midst of the waters, Jehovah is with us and I want to appreciate God that God has not forsaken us”.

The popular clergy called on the Federal Government and individuals to visit the state where several houses were submerged by the flood, saying visiting the victims would encourage them
