It is another terrible day for men of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC as one of their men died tragically in the Orile-Iganmu axis….

It is not clear what the intention of the officer was and what he wanted to achieve in the very tight Orile traffic. But eye witnesses said he wanted to stop an upcoming unlatched truck when the truck slammed him into a tanker in the front.

The incident which occurred at Orile, saw the unidentified officer squeezed in between a petrol laden truck and the trailer.

The incident drew many sympathisers to the scene as they watched the officer tightly sandwiched between two trucks bleed to death.

“There was nothing we could do, see how tight the man has been squeezed between the trucks. It will require a towing van to separate the vehicle before anybody can recover that dead officer”, one eye witness said.

The incident led to heavy traffic movement on the axis as several other vehicles were caught up in the malaise…
