TRACKING_____The Governor Of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson Has Commissioned The Bayelsa International Airport, Initiated And Completed By The Restoration Government.
Commissioning The 2.5km Road Of The Bayelsa State International Airport, Governor Dickson Commended The Vision Of Late Chief D.S.P Alamieyeseigha Of Having An International Airport In The State.
According to the governor, Late Chief D.S.P Alamieyeseigha has always wished to see an International Airport in Bayelsa State. He has shown strong commitment and love for the development of Bayelsa State and the Ijaw-Nation. But it’s unfortunate hue is not alive today to experience this Long awaited and commendable event.
Recognizing the vision and contribution of chief D.S.P Alamieyeseigha, governor Dickson named the 2.5km Airport Road after him, as a sign of respect and love for his vision an contribution in Bayelsa State and the Ijaw-Nation at large.
Governor Dickson, while commissioning the state’s International Airport, under rhe chairmanship of His Royal Highness, King Alfred Diette Spiff, commended his ream for their initiative and commitment in bringing the Airport projecat to light.
He further appreciated the kings, Chiefs and elders of the host communities for their supports and contributions, as he commissioned the International Airport in the name of the Father, Son & The Holy Spirit.
