Gov Umahi’s brother clinches Ebonyi South APC senatorial ticket

Younger brother of Ebonyi Govenor Austin Umahi has been elected the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for Ebonyi South senatorial zone.

Umahi defeated his challenger, Ann Agom-Eze at the party’s primary ,which held at Afikpo North local government area.

Umahi polled 279 votes to defeat Agom-Eze who came a distant second with just five votes.

MUmahi was a former National Vice Chairman Southeast of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

He is the younger brother of Governor Dave Umahi.
