GROUP ENDORSE HON. MONDAY OBOLO FOR 3RD TENURE, CALL FOR CONTINUITY.

THE Grassroot Mobilization Foundation of Zene enlisted its voice and support for Hon. Monday Obolo member representing, Southern-Ijaw Constituency 2 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, to re-contest for 3rd tenure under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the forthcoming general elections describing him as a square peg in square hole.
In a press statement made available to TRACK NEWS in Yenagoa yesterday during its emergency meeting , The President of the Foundation , Comr Zene Jew said the call became necessary in view of Hon Obolo outstanding performance as member State House of Assembly, including his humility, accessibility, exemplary and effective representation he has given to the good people of Silga Constituency 2.
Comr Zene Jew who is a grassroot mobilizer in Southern Consistency 2 said the call became imperative especially at a time when truly experienced and tested representatives of the people are hard to come.
“In view of his outstanding performance at the house of assembly, we wish to compel him to without further delay declare interest to re-contest for 3rd tenure in the forthcoming general elections” Abegi stated.
Hon Monday Obolo is a legislature per excellence. He has redefined what it means to be a legislature with quality representation, which has brought about development to the people. He has the requisite experience and exposure to represent the good people and in return, attract quality projects to the constituency.
Comr. Zene Jew said Hon. Obolo is not like others lawmakers lacks the political sagacity and capacity to carry them along, affirming that they only needed them when they sought re-election.
According to him, Obolo has demonstrated that he is a true leader and a true democrats with all his achievements in office and the group urged the stakeholders of the Constituency to support him come 2019.
