The Bayelsa State Chapter of the GSS Borikiri Old Students Association has joined other well-wishers to felicitate with the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, on his 50th birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message signed by the Chairman, Mr. Oyakemeagbegha Baker Oruh, and Secretary, King Kuro Okorowanta, the association described Dr. Ogbuku as an outstanding leader who has consistently demonstrated excellence, vision, and commitment to human capital and community development.
The group noted that from his days as a student of the institution, Dr. Ogbuku had always exhibited leadership traits which later became evident in his public service career—ranging from his role as Chief of Staff to the Bayelsa State Government to his current position as the helmsman of the NDDC.
The association commended his contributions to education, empowerment, and youth development, as well as his continuous support for the GSS Borikiri Old Students Association over the years.
Praying for God’s wisdom, health, and strength for Dr. Ogbuku, the association wished him greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
“Once again, we congratulate you on this special occasion of your golden jubilee. Happy birthday, Sir!” the message concluded.
