Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the wife of Deputy Commandant Apollos Dandaura, Commander of the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad.
According to Track News, the assailants also shot the Commandant’s younger brother in the attack on Wednesday evening in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State.
It was learned that Deputy Commandant Apollos Dandaura’s younger brother is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Lafia and is said to be responding to treatment.
The Commander’s wife was abducted in the Shenge neighborhood of Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa State.
Confirming the incident, Jerry Victor, Public Relations Officer of the Nasarawa State Command of the NSCDC, stated that the victim’s whereabouts were still unknown.
Three gunmen are killed by security forces in Anambra State.
Meanwhile, security personnel have killed three gunmen in Anambra State during a gun battle.
According to Track News, security personnel, including police and the military, killed the three ferocious-looking gunmen in combat on Wednesday.
It was reported that this occurred in Umunze, Orumba South local government area.
The gunmen were also said to have various charms on their bodies, including their legs, necks, waists, and hands.
According to Track News, the gunmen were part of a group that killed innocent citizens in the Orumba area.
All attempts to reach Anambra Police spokesman Ikenga Tochukwu were futile, but one of the Command’s senior officers confirmed the incident to the Nation newspaper.
He stated that the operation was carried out by a joint police and military team around 4:30 p.m. this evening.
