Gunmen on Friday attacked Toro Local Government area of Bauchi State, killing two young men and abducted one other.

A source from the area told Track News that the gunmen stormed the town in the early hours of Friday, precisely between 1.20am and 2.30am, moving from one point to the other for two hours without resistance.

The source lamented that throughout the operation, no security operatives came to challenge them, while the vigilantes were left helpless as they could not face the heavy fire power of the assailants who were heavily armed.

Track News also gathered that those killed were identified as Abba and Anas Wanzam while AdulRahman Abdulrahman Danmalam was kidnapped.

Meanwhile, the State Police Command had not confirmed the situation as the PPRO, SP Ahmed Wakili did not respond to text messages sent to him for confirmation
