…OBI’S ALLEGED FROZEN BANK ACCOUNTS YET TO BE CONFIRMED.
Former Governor of Anambra State and PDP Presidential running mate to His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, His Excellency Peter Obi has said that the alleged infractions into his bank accounts and that of his wife shall be confirmed, positive or negative tomorrow Monday 10th December 2018.
Obi, Nigeria’s next Vice President come 2019 told the National Publicity Secretary of Nigerians Asking For Atiku (NAFA) and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on communications, Dr (Barrister) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, on board a flight today 9th December 2018.
He said Nigeria under the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Mohammadu Buhari failed to fulfil all promises made to Nigerians in 2015, nearly four years after taking over mantle of leadership from the PDP.
Obi, further disclosed that the rumour making the rounds about his frozen bank accounts and that of his amiable wife, shall be cleared on Monday 10th December 2018, adding that his hands and that of his wife are clean in terms of all transactions from his days as governor of Anambra state till date.
He noted that APC national government may want to intimidate key members of the opposition before the 2019 presidential election but that such ill conceived threats will further facilitate APC and Buhari abysmal performance at the polls next year.
“As at today, Sunday 9th December 2018, I am yet to ascertain whether or not my bank account and that of my wife have been frozen; but I should be able to know by tomorrow Monday 10th December 2018,” Obi assured.
