Ogun State Government has alerted residents of the state about the outbreak of cholera in Ijebu North Local Government Area. Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Health, Dr Tomi Coker noted that cholera usually occurs during rainy seasons and may also be associated with poor environmental and personal hygiene.

Coker urged Ogun residents to report all cases of stooling with or without vomiting to government health facilities and notify the LGA DSNO (08069788449).

She implored Ogun residents to watch the food and water they consume, adding that Cholera is caused by water or food contaminated with faeces.
