President Muhammadu Buhari received the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmuminu Kabir-Usman, who was recently discharged from the hospital, on Sunday evening.
Malam Garba Shehu, who confirmed this in an Abuja statement, said Buhari prayed for the Emir’s continuing good health and strength to carry on with his charitable activities.
President Buhari commended the Emir for his unwavering support for his administration and tireless fight for his citizens’ well-being.
In reply, the Emir praised the president for his assistance with his treatment and rehabilitation and wished him a successful conclusion to his mandate.
He promised the president the support of his people in Katsina in his attempts to find solutions to the crises threatening the nation’s and its people’s well-being.
The Emir had been gone from his people for several weeks seeking medical attention.
