Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,

An Islamic Sharia Court sitting at Ningi, Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, which convicted three men guilty of homosexuality, has sentenced them to death by stoning, including a 70-year-old.

Track News Nigeria learnt the trial for the prisoners, whose names were given as Abdullahi Beti (30), Kamilu Ya’u (20), and Mal. Haruna (70), kicked off on June 14, 2022, following their detention by Hisbah Vanguard members operating in Ningi LGA under the guise of Adamu Dan Kafi.

Track News Nigeria covers that they admitted guilt to the accusations leveled against them. Trial judge, Munka’ilu Sabo-Ningi, condemned the defendants to death by stoning after hearing the testimony of the witnesses and their admission of guilt.
