The Special Adviser on Oil and Gas, Hon. Frank Otele has congratulated the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Erwudjakpor, for marking one year in office.
Hon. Frank stated that the duo have brought a good definition of good Governance in Bayelsa state since their assumption of office.
Hon. Otele said Bayelsa state would not have been luckier to have them standing as Governor and Deputy.
In a statement released by Hon. Frank, he said, “In just one year, their feats in all facets in the lives of Bayelsans has shown that their emergence as Governor and Deputy of Bayelsa state is indeed divine”
Hon. Frank further stated that Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy Senator Lawrence Erwudjakpor are men that put the interest of the state in everything they do, as it is seen in their determination to reposition Bayelsa state and make it a reference point, which is evident through a Rejuvenated healthcare delivery system, Reinvigorated educational system, Security of lives and properties of Bayelsans, Agricultural development, Sports development, Women and Youths involvement in Governance, Economic growth of the state as well as other infrastructural development across the state in one year.
The Special Adviser said, having achieved these feats in one year, that it is his firm belief that Bayelsa State is yet to see the best of them.
Hon. Frank Concluded by praying for God’s wisdom, strength guidance and protection upon the duo, as they steer the affairs of Bayelsa state through another productive year.
